Nominations
Candidate information can be quickly captured and verified, including political emblems and agents. eXpress checks validity of nominators against your electoral register. eXpress provides a complete range of candidate and agent letters and notices, keeping a full history of correspondence sent.

Election Notices and Documents
eXpress provides a complete range of election notices, ballot papers, letters, envelopes and labels available in English and Welsh. All documents are available in either Microsoft Word® or Seagate Crystal Reports® so they're easy to produce and easy to change.

Polling Stations
Comprehensive management of polling stations is provided with eXpress. Booking venues, recording key holder information, allocation of whole or part registers, ballot paper allocation, allocation of jobs, staff and equipment, payment of accounts and staff, all handled by eXpress. 

With register split across polling station eXpress automatically allocates the correct street splits and makes producing polling station registers a breeze. Production of polling station documents including marked registers and ballot paper accounts are available as standard in eXpress

Poll Cards
Poll Cards are produced direct from eXpress for valid electors, in the format and order you require. Poll cards can be printed in-house or sent direct to your printing bureau. Maps and additional polling station information can be printed on each card.

Staff Management
Allocation, appointment and payment of staff is all handled by eXpress. Integrate workflow and the use of bar-coded documents gives you the control over staffing appointments. Simple Windows Explorer® styled drag-'n'-drop technology enables quick and easy allocation of staff. Additional staff expenses can be simply entered into eXpress including taxable and or non-taxable mileage. Payment of staff fees and expenses can be made via cheque or external systems. Payment amounts are calculated automatically, accounting for combined elections and individual taxation. All financial transactions are recorded in detail, allowing the production of comprehensive financial reports and P528’s. 

Keep control of your election staffing with eXpress, election staff who live within the authority can have their details automatically updated should they move house etc.

Absent Voters
Control and accuracy is the key to a successful postal issue. eXpress achieves this by producing all the envelopes required, declaration of identity and control reports, all cross referenced and bespoke to each absent voter. Combined issues are handled automatically.

Barcoded envelopes, declarations of identity or ballot papers can be receipted into the system.

Complete integration with the electoral registers ensure accurate production of absent votes.

Equipment
Allocation of polling station and count centre equipment is all handled by eXpress. Use simple drag-'n'-drop technology to allocate polling station equipment to and from stores to stations.

Election Accounts
Financial transactions are recorded against a two-tier account code that relates directly to head codes on your election accounts. These transactions can be analysed across the whole election, election types in combined elections, individual accounts, staff or polling stations, giving you all the information required. All invoices, P528’s etc. are allocated voucher numbers providing a complete and accurate audit trail from document to cheque.

Count Management
eXpress Count handles the recording of ballot paper accounts and ballot verification figures. Upon complete verification of a ward count documentation is produced ready for recording the votes cast and the printing of the declaration of results.
